The Year 2022 is the most decisive year of this century. Looking back at the bygone 21yrs makes one realise how fast the world has changed. Change for the better or worse, is the present dilemma which every country is facing. The more the militarisation more a step backwards and less of the same and more peaceful Universe is a proven fact.

The picture above illustrates the money earned by countries from its exports of weapons to other countries. Now the most developed and powerful Nations are in the forefront in this business. Will it be business as usual for them even after this pandemic ? On the one hand climate change issues are discussed and on the other weaponry sale is going up as well. Every piece kept in the armoury dispels our faith in making this earth a good habitat.

Military Rule has always been downgraded and considered a worst style of governance. The present virus has doubly assured that nothing can save people but except living in healthy environment and a sound society which respects all. No amount of weapons can give citizens that stability than a well governed democratic country . Certainly where people's interest are utmost in the functioning of the governments there exists a progressive civilized society with high values and ethics. Indian History and World history stand testimony for the same.

Firstly weapons sourced for own use is unacceptable. No faiths encourage holding of guns and pistols. Secondly the purchase of Arms by Governments to strengthen the borders and to protect the people from attack is also deplorable. If the countries are forced to equip themselves for any war like situation , then the bullying bigs should be put on sanctions . A forceful unified attempt by the UN should be initiated against them. The already cash strapped Nations unable to feed their own people and having to spend on the military is disgusting. All the Research and development in this direction compels the world to make use of the most sophisticated weapons .The Use of arms in itself contains the slayer mind set. So only a trained hand can operate it wisely. Who gives the training , to whom and for what are some of the doubts about weapons. Recent moves by bigwigs display robots indulging in warfare thereby minimising their losses. Such countries should be banned from any social and economic interactions with others. Any entity trying to make fortune by manufacturing or selling arms and weapons , should be labelled immoral and hazardous for human life. An Awareness towards the same should start around the globe. Humans and other species need only good food, clean Air and pure water to survive without diseases . All the other things have to be curtailed . May the international consciousness of wellbeing overthrow the power plays of these sharp instruments of mass destruction.

The psyche of the general public especially children are now trained to think it is okay to shoot or use arms. Film making, strategy triggering shooting Games and cartoon making should start giving a thought about this abuse of our life. Realism at what cost? May the world heal itself from insults and regression.

A stitch in time saves nine, Does this ring a bell of warning? Disarmament as a concept seems very remotely achievable but it is possible. We must work together to establish a new world order.
