As the We celebrate the World Sight s day today , we take our pledge to understand the Art of Sighting. The faculty of seeing has been a window literally for all living beings for them to engage in this world. The pair of eyes has empowered every body to meander the paths and lanes on this earth and in the space too! Fortunate are those who have healthy eyes to support their activities.

Humans with the additional help of their brains have walked away from other species of this world. Today the planet we live in , is well observed and noticed. A wider angle to their existence has been a great achievement to the human beings. But alongside the other creatures here have it going tough. Now the battle between the Man and Nature is more explicit. The more the Man advances technologically , more serious the tussle shall be.

My mind goes back to the childhood stories of how Television can impair our vision. As we came out of Television set scare,we graduated into the Computer screens. Thereon the world is on a hullabulla . We started carrying phones in our hands. Phones transformed into an All in one companion for all. All is fine till here. We have grown very big.

Life stands defeated inthe hands of Human beings. We repeat everyday "Drive carefully, Speak cautiously, Spend quality time with family n friends, upgrade living skills"etc. All these do not require any machine learning.

It's time to unlearn . There isn't any race for humans to be very astute and clever. This by no means indicate that we remain foolish or losers. We should drive ourselves towards simplicity . In the journey of Simple living, our beautiful eyes play the first and foremost role. Appreciate things we have, trying to keep a modest lifestyle, lesser dependency on machine and gadgets and finally be less competitive. We owe this to our eyes. They are the gateway to many worlds like fantasy, spiritual and naturals.

Consciousness begins in the optic region. It gives direction, colour and clarity to all.
